MAKING “PHỞ” LOOKS LUXURIOUS!


This Food Photography project is for our strategic partner - InterContinental Da Nang Resort. The task we needs to solve is to directly offers restyling options for each Food Display as soon as finish cooking. Moreover, the dish must keep the spirit of simplicity but still retain the sophistication: "Less IS MORE", with such enthusiastic support from the restaurant. We managed to make at least 2 options for each dish. While other projects were based on the prepared Creative Treatment and sketches, this one requires ‘going with the flow’ and instant creative process on set as there was no time for preparations.


For example, the familiar Phở dish has been displayed on the plate in 4 different ways to suits customer's taste. We start transforming the dish following the request of InterContinental Danang GM to make the dish the most luxurious one. What makes it challenging is to define how much luxury is enough. We decided to offer up to 4 different premium levels for display, No.1 is the most luxurious one and No.4 is the closest to our traditional dish.
